Unfunny jokes aside, this blog is simply created to document our progress in whatever we are doing on our way to accomplish something productive.

And "blob" sounds cute doesn't it.

A decision has been made to dedicate proportionally more time and effort into exploring the mysteries of AI (Artificial Intelligence), hence the name.. geek. And geek sounds cute too.
We will also include random content of other areas that we are interested in, maybe hobbies, music or travelling stuff.

Bias and Variance in Machine Learning

Bias:  The hypothesis is known to be biased if it tends to overestimate or underestimate a parameter Variance:  The hypothesis is known to have high variance if the data are far away from its average value Given the complexity of some data, a linear regression may not be able to formulate an accurate prediction. As the linear regression only factors in 1 specific feature of the data, the 'best-fit' line does not fit the data well enough.
